1. The tables are based on annual returns of criminal proceedings submitted at the end of the year by the District Courts, the Assize Courts and the Martial Court.
2. The data refers to the year during which the criminal proceedings at the courts were completed, that is the year during which the prosecution of the suspects to the courts and the indictment took place. The year in question is not necessarily the year the offence was committed.
