Methodological information
1. Figures for long-term immigrants for the period 1981-1988 are based on the declaration of travelers on the arrival cards.
2. Figures for emigrants for the period 1983-1988 are based on the declaration of travelers on the departure cards.
3. During the years for which there is no data on immigrants and emigrants, net migration is estimated.
4. The total number of long-term immigrants for the years 1998 - 1999 includes those whose sex was not stated.
5. Demographic statistics have been revised for the period 2012-2022, based on the final results of the Census of Population and Housing 2021.
